My wife
Sarah and I started TEC-Cycles and named it after our three children Ty, Emily and Cole. We opened our
shop to fill the need for an active trials dealer in Southern California. Our goal is to provide excellent service to the
local and national trials community. To that end we not only sell to our local area, but we ship parts
and used bikes all over the country. Currently we deal mainly with accessories. In the future we plan
to expand to other brands and types of bikes.
I have been involved with riding motorcycles all my life.
I grew up racing off road/enduros/hare scrambles in Northern California's D36 and was an "A" class rider at the
time I stopped racing. After a short time racing cars (seemed like a long time to Sarah) I was introduced to trials
by my Uncle Matt Cullins (Sarah gave me my first trials bike for Christmas). After riding two seasons with the P.I.T.S.
trials club in Northern California we made the move to Southern California. Soon I began riding with the Southern California
Trials Association and met many great people just like up north. As time went on I became more and more involved with
the club and I am now the President of the Southern California Trials Assocation.
I compete here in California
in the Advanced Class and ride a few nationals in the Support Class. Our oldest son Ty Cullins also competes. He rides the Expert class in local events and High School at the nationals. He was
the 2011 Junior National Champion and has many Youth Champoinships to his credit. Ty rides on the Factory Beta team.The
two of us also race Motocross from time to time, usually out at Glen Helen raceway. Our daughter Emily rides
a little, but she much prefers riding her horse. The youngest Cole has just started riding a motorcycle, but
he like his sister, also enjoys riding horses.
